I was on Last.FM today and noticed this ad from Epson prompting me for my user name.
Entering your user name, generates this:
Clicking through takes you to this - a cool data visualization of your musical taste over time:
This ad is clearly built from the Last.FM API, and is the first example that I've seen of a targeted ad campaign for a social media community built off that community's API.
Pretty cool. Nice work by Epson.
