It seems as if the whole world is turning on Twitter. TechCrunch, VentureBeat, Webware, and Mashable have strongly condemned the recent outages. But that's just the tip of the potentially Twitter sinking iceberg. Lurking beneath the surface is some guy in Jersey who is organizing a Twit-Out boycott for tomorrow.
But all is not lost. At least one blogger is attempting to circle the wagons and come to Twitter's aid. Mobile Buzz has launched a Can Drive for Twitter which aims to raise $5M (in 24 hours). Perhaps, says Mobile Buzz, if we can collectively raise this money for more servers, we can - together - prevent this horrible Twit-Out from occurring.
