Irish polling service PollDaddy has announced that they're building out a destination site to complement their widget and app powered polling service. Webware has the scoop.
This makes perfect sense to me - they're sucking in all this content from their edge presence - why not put it to work? For more on this type of strategy, see my post on hub & spoke.

Competition is a good thing, right? Well, up until now Poll Daddy really hasn't had much competition in the world of online polls. They dominate because they have a good service and because there aren't many other players offering what they do. Poll Authority at http://www.PollAuthority.com may be the first true challenge to Poll Daddy. Offering many outstanding features, such as complete poll customization through themes, multiple blocking options, options to easily embed video, and a very easy to use interface, Poll Authority is poised to cut into the online polling market. It's worth checking out!

This fascination with online instant polls is interesting, don't you agree? Some people love them, some avoid them, though. I find sometimes the questions are not complete enough in themselves, or there need to be more questions to cover all scenarios.
