About a month ago, I formally launched a search for a CTO for RateItAll. I posted the job req on LinkedIn, and on Sexy Widget.
I received more than a hundred pretty good resumes from LinkedIn. I received one great resume via a referral from a Sexy Widget reader (thanks Peter Yared).
That referral is now RateItAll's CTO.
I guess it figures - you write about what's strategic for your business. You attract a readership of folks that are passionate about and expert in your niche. And if a job comes up, what better network to circulate the job description to?
