Hey MoveOn - Stay out of it

I lean a little left.  I think the current US administration has been a total disaster - probably the worst of my lifetime.

But I despise attack dog groups like MoveOn.  Their partisanship, and nastiness, and hyperbole do little to foster intelligent debate, and they seem more about keeping people divided then offering any ideas of their own.

As I watch them attempting to capitalize on the Facebook buzz to push their own agendas - under the guise of protecting our privacy - I'm reminded just how much political overtones can infect an otherwise worthwhile discussion.

So MoveOn, if you're listening, keep your stinking political attacks where they belong - in politics.  We can figure out the privacy stuff on our own.

couldn't agree more... I raised an eyebrow when I first read this thinking to myself "what are they doing getting involved in this?". Sadly, I think you're right when you say that they're looking to capitalize on the Facebook buzz.
