I read your blog from google reader, as you know, RSS load in a second but to be honest, whenever I come to the blog itself, it takes time to load and I have high speed connection as well...
When the guy (or girl) says the page cannot be stopped from loading I guess means even if the elements have loaded, the widgets are still pulling data from other sites; talking about widgets obviously will need widgets to be shown and because you've got different sources for your widgets, your page has many different javascript files to load and that slows down the page as Alex Iskold explained us on:
http://alexiskold.wordpress.com/2007/08/15/how-javascript-is-slowing-down-the-web-and-what-to-do-about-it/

I guess you would need to get rid of a couple of widgets or anyway, you would decide; in any case, your page is cool, keep up the good job ;)

Some time before, I needed to buy a good house for my corporation but I didn't have enough money and couldn't buy something. Thank God my friend adviced to take the credit loans from banks. Thus, I did so and was happy with my short term loan.
