Apple has finally introduced a widget to complement iTunes.
They chose not to copy the existing play history widgets (Last.FM, iLike, Pandora, etc.) which I think is a good call. Instead, they let you choose between three options - purchased music, favorited music (most plays), and positive reviews that you've left.
(note, it's a pretty old school move to only include positive reviews. Negative reviews are often more entertaining.)
You can see my widget purchase history widget in the left sidebar.
You can click the link at the bottom of the widget to build your own - though you may have to upgrade to the latest version of iTunes for it to work. You'll also have to go to your iTunes account tab (under the "Store" tab) and enable "My Itunes."
