Testing a Read / Write Widget - Need Your Help
I'm testing the new RateItAll blog rating / community widget. As far as I can tell, it's one of the first read/write widgets on the Web - folks should be able to post and browse feedback / reviews about the blog, login / join, and see recent reviewers. Make sure to try interacting with the tabs at the bottom of the widget.
I'd greatly appreciate it if you could try leaving a review of Sexy Widget by interacting with the green widget in the upper right corner of this page. If things work properly, you'll never have to leave this site.
Reviews posted via this widget will simultaneously show up in RateItAll's db, in front of the site's 800K monthly uniques, in theory driving the blog owner more traffic.
If any Sexy Widget readers would like to participate in the closed beta of this widget, you can get on the list HERE.
I couldn't post to it without logging in.

Looks great, will have to play with it some more to provide better feedback. For what it's worth, while this widget is probably one of the first to implement it this way, others have existed that do a read/write. At least from a technical standpoint. ;)

Todd, in the world of consumer ratings, you really need to require a login/join to maintain the integrity of the ratings. There's just no way to get around it. The good news is that you can both join and login from the body of the widget.
Ming, send me a note to lawrence at rateitall.com and I will send you a link to take the widget for a whirl.
