We just rolled out a new RateItAll widget that lets RateItAll members export their most recent 15 reviews and RateItAll profile to their blog or MySpace page via a Flash widget.
As this is a “UGC Export” widget, we don’t expect it to be all that interesting to folks who are not regular users of RateItAll. However, that doesn’t mean we’re not excited about it. As far as I can tell, RateItAll is the first review site to provide this sort of widget to its members. We take a lot of pride in trying to put our members first – for example, RateItAll members own their reviews (and can delete their account at any time), and also can share advertising revenue on their content contributions. Compare this approach to some of the other big review sites.

In an earlier post, I mentioned that we had three concurrent widget projects going on. Two of these are now live; the “content proliferation” widget that we partnered with MuseStorm for, and this review / profile export widget.
The third is the biggie, and we’re getting close to having a prototype. Stay tuned.
