Fantastic!
You beat me to this. I was on stage two of this widget. The try out. That's when I found out you wrote about it.
Good work!

By the way...it seems as though some of my visitors come to see you as well.
Cool!

Thanks Derek - hopefully some SW readers are enjoying WidgetsLab.com as well. I know I am.

I have to say that both your blogs are great and I am a new reader for both, by way of Widgify -> Widgets Lab -> Sexy Widget.

BTW, this was a great review. Keep up the good work.

Hi, I like the box.net service too, but for music, try my own company, www.sonific.com. We offer free music widgets for over 100K tracks (going to 200K in the next 4 weeks), lots of great indie stuff such as the barenaked ladies (see www.sonificbnl.com). We stream at 128K, full length, btw... check it out. Gerd Leonhard, Sonific

Gerd, congratulations on signing up some big name artists. I'll try and take another look at Sonific in the next few weeks.

I think this is a great post. One thing that I find the most helpful is number five. Sometimes when I write, I just let the flow of the words and information come out so much that I loose the purpose. It’s only after editing when I realize what I’ve done. There’s defiantly a lot of great tips here I’m going to try to be more aware of.

The Boston Bruins went into Montreal after losing the first two games at home. If the big polling companies had surveyed Boston's hockey fans, they may have reported that 8 out of 10 had written the Bruins off. The overwhelming feeling in Beantown was that there was no way the Bruins could win one game in the Bell Center, let alone both.

So what are the implications of this?

Without ever leaving the blog, I can grab the music track, join Box.net, and set up my own Box.net widget pre-loaded with that music track. And of course, it doesn’t have to be a music track. It could be a photo, a presentation, a whitepaper. It’s easy to imagine Box.net enabling a rapid spread of files around the Web.

Thank you for sharing your experience and the time it took to post!! Two Thumbs up. such a good post.

We all know the allure of the elusive "serial entrepreneur" -- the rare breed who has done it before (successfully) and will not fall victim to the same business pitfalls (he'll have to discover new ones). I have backed serial entrepreneurs before and will continue to back them. They have valuable startup knowledge to bring to bear on the company building process that we in the venture business clearly covet.

Really nice work guys!! Your studio seems to be an amazing workplace. I would not fail to advertise you.

Thank you for the tutorial! Those are extremely cute!

I actually like what you have acquired here, really like what you’re saying and the way in which you say it.

I am so glad this internet thing works and your article really helped me. Might take you up on that home advice you.
